2024 PROJECT PORTFOLIO

Oil Refinery
The Oil Refinery project is a private sector project in the DRC that will serve as the oil and gas import substitution entity to supply the country and region gasoline, naphtha, diesel oil, LPG, kerosene, jet-kerosene, MGO, petcoke, and residue bitumen. This project proposes to refine approximately 300,000 barrels per day.

Hydroelectric Dam
This hydroelectric dam project will be built in the Malicha-Simbi province of South Kivu DRC, on the Mutambala River. It will electrify the city of Baraka and the outskirts of the city, the Fizi territory. The direct beneficiaries is a total population of 220,000 citizens, having an energy consumption of approximately 6.5 MW. This project will have a positive economic impact on the city by creating jobs and allowing commerce to flourish in the region.

Solar and Wind Farms
In collaboration with the local government in the Province of South Kivu DRC, this project requires the build of a 200 MW solar power station on 200 hectares of land. The project also proposes the build of 3 solar fams in Burundi, in the regions of Bujumbura, Gitega, Ruyigi, and Rutana. The Burundi solar project will require 74,000 solar panels and produce 41 MW. Two wind farms are included in the Burundi project that will produce 7.4 MW.

Gold Mines and Refinery
The 41 Gold Mines and Refinery project under our portfolio applies the OECD Guide on due diligence for responsible supply chains of minerals from conflict or high risk areas, as well as the standards of international law. A percentage of the profit is invested into a locally managed community development fund. The objective of this fund is to promote local governance of natural resources and to allow all members of the community to benefit from the benefits derived from these resources.

Diamond Exploration
The Banalia Project is located in the Orientale Province of the DRC. The Banalia diamond project is an early stage exploration project with its underlying regional geology primarily made up of the sediments of the Congo Basin. The Congo Basin covers about 1.2 million km2 and is one of the largest intra-cratonic basins in the world. A remote sensing study was completed and found over 100 anomalies, suggesting a resource of over 4,000,000 carats present.

Lithium Exploration
Lithium mineralization has been recently identified by the local people in the South Kivu Province of the DRC. Preliminary exploratory studies establish the presence of mineralization and its potential for larger scale exploration and future mining.

Sea Port
The Baraka Sea Port project is set to introduce state-of-the-art port facilities, tailored to serve a trifold purpose: accommodating the bustle of passengers, the throughput of commercial cargo, and the vitality of the fishing industry.
The design is poised to revolutionize transport logistics by connecting the heart of Baraka to neighboring cities and other strategic ports in the region. The plans are to establish a Free Trade No-Tax Zone in the port that will trade commodities and goods between the DRC, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, and beyond.

Intercontinental Airport
The IPC Baraka Airport project will create over 13,000 direct construction jobs and open the door for more direct flights and affordable fares across the nation and region. This project will have 20 - 35 gates, a 2,000 car parking garage, a central utility solar plant, and a superior ground transportation staging area.

Toll Road (700 Km)
The Toll Road project is a 700 km road that will service the mining industry in the heart of the mining district of the DRC. It will serve as the main artery between the cities of Kalemie, Uvira, Baraka, and Kindu. This project will contribute to a major economic boost, providing for shorter commutes between cities, easier access to materials, equipment, and services to mining sites.

130,000 Social Housing Units
The vision of the President of the DRC is to build 130,000 eco-friendly housing units, spread out across all the territories of the DRC. This project aims to fight against poverty and inequalities, and to improve access of rural populations to basic infrastructure and services. A pilot project of 5,000 social housing units is proposed in the South Kivu province and the capital city of Kinshasa. Also included with various model homes, schools, universities, health centers, business parks, paved roads, sidewalks, and traffic lanes will be constructed.

Day/Night Solar Panel
The new advancements in solar panel technologies make it possible to convert convert infrared radiation into electrical energy at night when the earth cools. This panel system captures this energy and thus making it one of the most efficiency system on the market today. These nocturnal devices are able to generate up to 50 watts of power per square meter, a quarter of what conventional panels can generate in the daytime.

Small Modular Reactor
Power Plant
The Small Modular Reactor (SMR) is intended to operate in a future carbon-free energy environment as electric power system, providing reliable uninterruptable (24/7) power for industrial, commercial, and residential applications. A single SMR unit can generate a capacity of 10 mega watts of power for 10 years with practically zero maintenance, with refueling performed every 10 years. The total life of the SMR is 60 years.
